Start with a repeatable pipeline
Treat AI comic production as a chain: topic, hook, script, storyboard, character sheet, panels, voice, edit, publish, and review. New creators usually fail by jumping straight into image generation before the story and scene goals are clear.
Keep the first version small
For the first project, build a 45 to 90 second episode with one protagonist, one conflict, and one reveal. A smaller story exposes every workflow problem while keeping the cost low.
Use AI as the hand, not the brain
Use AI to draft scenes, prompts, and variations, but keep human control over premise, pacing, and emotional beats. The stronger your visual intention, the better the tools behave.
